We are experiencing some problems with applications coming through.

You must be 21 years or older to apply to adopt.

An application is NOT binding; you can change your mind about adoption at any time.
We do not have a shelter or facility. All of our dogs are kept in foster homes.
If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, you must first submit a completed application.

We are located in the Toledo, Ohio and we adopt within a 1 hour radius.
Dogworks is a volunteer organization. All Dogworks adoptions require a home visit and Dogworks fosters commit to driving up to a 1 hour radius of Downtown Toledo. Some fosters are willing to spend their time and gas to drive further than others, so please complete an application if you desire. Just know in advance that if you are an hour from Downtown Toledo, Dogworks will not require a foster to drive to your house and your application may be denied by the foster solely because of your travel distance.

**Please contact your veterinary office and give them permission for us to do a vet reference. Some offices will not do a reference without this and it is often a cause of delay in processing applications.

An adoption contract must be signed for permanent placement in adoptive home. If this dog is not placed with you, it does not mean that your application has been rejected. Dogworks receives multiple applications for some dogs.
