Dogworks is a volunteer group without a shelter or kennel. All of our adoptable dogs are located in foster homes. Please email us to see if the dog you are interested in will be at our next Meet & Greet, listed on the events page.

Popeye is a 3 year old Blue Heeler (Aussie Cattle Dog) and Lab mix. This boy is HIGH energy, and would make a great running partner. Popeye needs a patient home, he has become very shy of people, and prefers women over men now. He is also HIGH drive, so keeping his mind busy doing tricks or with a busy toy is an excellent way to keep him happy. He really is a very good and smart boy if given the chance to show his true colors.
Popeye is good with other dogs with proper introductions. He is around birds, but is scared of them, but he does not bother them. He is afraid of children and their quick movements, so young children in the home is not recommended.
