HELP US TO HELP THEM
Rescue isn’t just about the cute, fluffy puppies or the young, healthy dogs with perfect pictures.
RESCUE IS ABOUT ALL OF THEM
It’s about the seniors who can barely see.
It’s about the broken ones The forgotten ones.
The ones no one else says “yes” to.
Because every single dog matters. And lately, the need has felt endless...

Kobe
|
Two of our most recent intakes — and please remember, they are only two of many — are Junebug and Kobe.
Junebug was found wandering the streets of Toledo alone. She was already missing one eye, and the other was so severely damaged it couldn’t be saved. She has now lost both eyes, but she hasn’t lost her spirit.
She is learning to navigate her world in foster care with bravery that humbles us every single day.
Kobe came to us from one of our rescue partners in southern Ohio.
He was heartbreakingly emaciated and tested positive for heartworm.
His body was exhausted. His frame told a story of neglect.
But even so, his tail still found the strength to wag.
Both are safe now. Both are healing. Both are finally loved.
But love doesn’t cover surgery. Love doesn’t pay for heartworm treatment.
Love doesn’t erase the mounting veterinary bills.
Rescue is expensive — especially when you say yes to the hardest cases.
If you believe blind dogs deserve a chance…
If you believe starving dogs deserve a full bowl…
If you believe the broken ones are worth saving…
Then, please consider donating. Your support is what allows us to keep saying “yes” when others can’t.
Every dollar makes a difference.
Every bit of kindness matters. Because they matter!

Dogworks could not continue to help unwanted dogs without the generosity of our donors! Rescue involves a wide variety of expenses: some related directly to caring for foster dogs, and some administrative costs. We have to pay for veterinary services, dog food, treats, transportation, printing, postage, etc. Adoption fees do not cover all of our operating costs! Your donation can provide opportunities for dogs to have a second chance at a wonderful life. $15 pays for a vaccination. $100 pays to spay/neuter a puppy. $200 covers all expenses for an average rescue. Please use the PayPal button, or mail a check payable to Dogworks to: P.O. Box 5402, Toledo, OH 43613 Donations are tax deductible! Your gift allows us to be a lifeline to unwanted animals when they have run out of time. We extend a heartfelt thanks for your support, large or small. Every donation helps!
